Revie Lake is delighted to announce a new partnership with BlazePod, bringing one of the world's leading reaction-training systems into the young British GT driver's preparation programme.

At just 16 years old, Revie is already competing in the British GT Championship, having made the jump from Ginetta Junior racing into GT4 machinery for the 2026 season.

As his racing career continues to progress, the focus is increasingly shifting beyond simply finding speed in the car.

Reaction time, decision-making, coordination and the ability to remain focused under pressure are all crucial parts of modern motorsport, and that is where BlazePod comes in.

Training the brain as well as the body

BlazePod is a reaction-training platform built around light-up Pods controlled through an interactive app.

The system is designed to combine physical and cognitive training, challenging athletes to react to visual cues while moving, changing direction and making decisions. BlazePod says its training methodology is intended to improve reaction time, agility, decision-making and focus under pressure.

For a racing driver, those are skills that translate directly into the cockpit.

At racing speeds, the difference between seeing something happen and reacting correctly can be measured in fractions of a second.

Whether it is responding to a car appearing unexpectedly in traffic, processing a change in track conditions or making a split-second decision during a battle, the ability to process information quickly is fundamental.

A new dimension to Revie's preparation

Revie's 2026 season has already demonstrated how important preparation away from the circuit can be.

After moving from Ginetta Junior into a McLaren Artura GT4, he has had to adapt to faster machinery, longer races, multi-class traffic and the physical demands of GT racing.

BlazePod will now form part of that wider preparation.

The system allows Revie to work on reaction speed and cognitive agility away from the circuit, while also providing measurable feedback that can be used to monitor progression. BlazePod's platform includes hundreds of ready-made activities, personalised training options, analytics and performance statistics.

That makes it particularly suited to a young driver who is still developing every aspect of his performance.

A partnership built around development

BlazePod's technology is already used across a wide range of sporting environments, with the company highlighting applications in sports including football, basketball, tennis and martial arts, as well as work with professional teams and athletes.

The company's current platform also reports more than one million Pods sold worldwide.

For Revie, the partnership represents another step towards building a professional approach to every part of his racing career.

"Reaction and decision-making are such a big part of racing," says Revie. "The car is only one part of the equation, so having a training system that allows me to work on those skills away from the circuit is really exciting.

"I'm really pleased to welcome BlazePod to the team and I'm looking forward to seeing how much we can develop throughout the season."

Looking towards the next level

Revie's first British GT season has already produced some impressive flashes of pace, including front-running GT4 performance at Spa-Francorchamps and a third-place GT4 qualifying performance at Snetterton.

The next objective is turning that speed into consistency.

With BlazePod now part of his preparation programme, the focus is firmly on developing every aspect of his performance; both inside and outside the car.

The partnership represents a shared belief that performance is not simply about being naturally fast.

It is about training smarter, reacting faster and constantly looking for another edge.

Welcome to the team, BlazePod.
